Season for Squeezin'
It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as the weather starts to cool off and some of us are forced to hang up our bikinis for the year, we need to remember it's still the Season for Squeezin! Give those lovely ladies of yours' a squeeze from time to time, and be sure to tell you doctor if you feel anything funny.
According to the American Cancer Society:
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States, except for skin cancers. It is about 30% (or 1 in 3) of all new female cancers each year. Women have a 1 in 8 chance of developing breast cancer.
The American Cancer Society's estimates for breast cancer in the United States for 2023 are:
- About 297,790 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women.
- About 55,720 new cases of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) will be diagnosed.
- About 43,700 women will die from breast cancer.
There are also over 4 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. So giving yourself regular checks and following up with your doctor are oh so important!
To help spread breast cancer awareness we teamed up over the summer with non-profit Season for Squeezin, and you will now find their awareness tag on all of our pieces. We are proud to be a part of this important cause, and hope that you will also spread the word to help save some lives. You are too beautiful and precious to become a victim of something so treatable when caught early on.
So give those girls a good squeeze, it could save your life!
